The Centrifugal Barrel Finishing machine offers a variety of features

Update:09 Oct 2022

Centrifugal barrel finishing is a process that can produce barrels with a superior finish. The centrifugal force compresses the load into a tight mass, which slides against the parts, removing burrs and creating a better finish. High centrifugal energy can produce barrels thirty times faster than traditional methods.

The largest centrifugal barrel finishing machine can process 320 litres of material. The machine is suited for tumbling intricate parts. It has the ability to batch process parts individually. This is particularly helpful for parts that need aggressive material removal. Common applications include surgical scissors, airplane turbine blades, 3d printed metal parts, and medical implants made of titanium.

The Centrifugal Barrel Finishing machine has multiple barrels and tubs. The main shaft moves up and down and supports upper and lower turrets 5a and 5b. The barrels and tubs can rotate on their respective axes. There is no restriction on the number of tubs; however, multiple tubs are preferable. These tubs are mounted at regular intervals on the main shaft and have a hinged lid to simplify the discharging process.

The Centrifugal Barrel Finishing machine offers a variety of features and a wide range of speeds and media. It also includes a timer controller and an alarm to alert the operator when processing is complete. The machine also features a wide range of settings for controlling barrel rotation and forward and back rotation. In addition, it can be equipped with a separator, which adds to the versatility of this machine.
